These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Opzaco maintenance-tracking platform ("the Service") operated by Opzaco LLC ("Opzaco," "we," "us") at https://opzaco.com. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Access to Opzaco is invitation-based. An organization ("Customer") creates an account, then invites users in one of five roles: owner (full administrative access), supervisor (day-to-day management), worker (field user who completes service logs), client (a property owner the Customer invites, with read-only access to the service history for the equipment assigned to them), or super_admin (platform operator, reserved for us).
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify your manager immediately if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service (asset records, service logs, photos, notes). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you and your organization.
We do not sell your data and do not use it to train third-party models. Our AI feature (“Ask the Manual”) calls an external model only when a worker asks a question, and only with the equipment’s manual, the question, any attached photos, and a short excerpt of recent service notes for that equipment. Those requests are made under zero-data-retention terms and are never used to train models.
By providing your mobile phone number to your manager for use with Opzaco, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from us: a one-time welcome message containing a sign-in link, and one-time passcodes when you sign in. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.
Pricing is set on a per-customer basis. Customers are billed by invoice in accordance with the agreement reached at the time of onboarding. Workers and other invited users do not pay anything to use Opzaco; their use is covered by the inviting organization's account.
Your manager may remove your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, that is involved in fraud or abuse, or for non-payment by the inviting organization. On termination, account information is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that stored data will not be lost, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. Use of the Service does not replace professional judgment about the maintenance, safety, or operation of equipment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount paid to us by your organization in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
We may update these Terms over time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
