What is Opzaco
Opzaco is a maintenance-tracking system for teams that service equipment somewhere other than their own desk. Managers create a page for each piece of equipment and print a QR sticker for it. Workers scan the sticker, follow the instructions, and submit a service log. The dashboard shows what was serviced, when, and by whom.
The shape of it
Everything in Opzaco hangs off three things, in this order:
- A property is a location — a site, a building, an estate, a plant, a customer address. It groups assets.
- An asset is a thing that gets serviced — a generator, an air compressor, a production machine, an HVAC unit. Each asset gets its own QR code, its own instructions, and its own service form.
- A service log is one completed visit — the filled-in form, the photos, the notes, the timestamp, and the worker who did it. Logs cannot be edited after submission.
Those are the default words, not a fixed vocabulary. If your business services plants, sites, or customers rather than properties, rename both — see Organization settings.
The guiding principle
Workers are non-technical, often working in the field or on a plant floor, often on bad signal. The whole product is built so that scanning a code to submitting a log is about three taps, with no training required. Features that would need training generally do not make it in.
