Organization settings
Four things live here: how your printed material looks, what you call things, whether workers get AI help, and whether they can submit receipts. Owner-only.
Branding
Set a brand color. It colors the printed QR card around the code; the code itself stays black and white so it always scans. See QR codes.
Terminology
Not everyone manages “properties” full of “assets”. Rename both words and the new ones carry across your dashboard — page titles, buttons, empty states:
- Property
- Property, Project, Department, or your own word.
- Asset
- Asset, Item, Equipment, or your own word.
A preview under each field shows how the word will read before you save. Worth doing early, while you have few enough screens memorised that the change is easy to absorb. A few incidental places still say the default word; tell Opzaco if you hit one that matters.
AI features
Two controls, both covered in detail under Ask the Manual:
- Ask the Manual
- On or off for the whole organization. Turning it off stops all AI answers immediately; the button may linger on a worker’s screen until their app refreshes, but it will not answer.
- Response quality
- A ceiling on model quality — Fast, Balanced (recommended), or Best. It caps how far a worker’s “Try smarter model” retries can go; set to Fast, the button never appears at all. Leave it on Balanced unless costs or answer quality push you elsewhere.
Receipts
Turn receipt capture on, define your categories (an accounting code plus a worker-facing label), and list the email addresses that should receive every submitted receipt. Optionally set a reply-to address, a standing note added to every receipt email, and which PDF layout goes out — Detailed, or photos only. Full walkthrough under Receipts.
Timezone
Your organization has a timezone, and Opzaco uses it for most dates a person reads — which day a log belongs to, and when daily AI limits reset. A few screens still render in UTC, so a late-evening submission can show tomorrow’s date in one place and today’s in another. Tell Opzaco if a date matters and looks off by one.
